Who am I?

Hello, my name is Lucas Manou I am an industrial design major as San Francisco State University. My primary interests are architecture, and automotive design. I love modern design as well as brutalism and gothic architecture. when it comes to the automotive industry my love spans from cars, trucks to motorcycles. I hope to grow as a designer and in a perfect world have my own automotive design firm specializing in aftermarket parts or working directly with auto manufacturers. But truthfully as long as I can drive cool cars and live in a nice home with a loving family I am beyond happy regardless of profession.

Honest - Opinionated - Passionate.

"The alternative to good design is always bad design. There is no such thing as no design."

  1. Lunar New Year's Greetings Lucas! Welcome to DES 505. I appreciate your interest in architecture and automotive design. The closest architect, systems theorist, writer, designer, inventor, philosopher, and futurist individual to address that ominous, challenging quest was Buckminster Fuller (Geodesic Dome) and the Dymaxion Car. Choosing any one of those lofty goals within the timeframe of a 505 project would take you into another degree of education. You would need to be more specific and practical in identifying a component or feature of the architectural built environment, or of an automotive application, to identify such a plausible venture. I would recommend that you consider the following designated Design for Community Project Proposals as a place to start for your professional career development interests, such as: 1) FireBrake Interventions, Inc.; 2) SF Transit Riders; 3) CityWright Collaborative; 4) Development of a Display System for SFSU Library
